These are the real top 5.
1) Carry on up the Kyber.
2) Carry on Matron.
3) An Inspector calls.
4) Carry on screaming.
5) Confessions of a driving instructor. Is this some sort of joke Comfortably Hum-drum? Where's Carry On Pot My Black?
I haven't seen that one Ronnie. I was going to put in 'Carry on being sick in a kebab shop', but it hasn't been released yet.
Is it true that JD starred in 'Carry on drinking'?
Yes, that's right CN. Not many people know that JD was part of the Carry On team in his early acting career. Other little known stars of this series include:
Mark Jacob in 'Carry On Dancing Bear', Jim Heath in 'Carry On Wearing Corduroy', Ringo in 'Carry On Guffing', and the entire cast of the Three Bridges Railway Club in 'Carry On Eat My Cheese'.
Did you know that JD also appeared in a spin-off of the popular BBC family-tree tracing series. It was called "Where Do You Think You Are?"

This is a great thread Ronnie and we've stumbled on a serious subject to debate at last. I want to know if there are any other Crawley players with acting credentials. I know a few.
Cliff Berry. Carry on wearing a hat all the time.
TB. A regular bit part actor playing a patient in most episodes of Casualty.
I have been offered many acting roles in the past. Most notably 2nd rock in '3rd rock from the sun'. The big house in 'Little house on the Prairie' and
studious in 'the good the bad and the ugly'.
I also heard that JD was in an episode of Dale Winton's supermarket sweep, but he just filled his trolley with Guinness and porn mags so they never broadcast that one in case kids were watching.

I was actually in 'Carry on being pretty rubbish at pool except for the odd fluke'........ Quite a catchy title I think you'll agree!
CN you could be in carry on romping.
VI could be in Carry on ranting
Ronnie could be in carry on coming back to crawley every now and then to play pool.
I think I should next be in carry on writing crap on the forum when you're bored at work.

Or you and your team could be in Carry on losing the league to J&J this season.

Might be more sensible to call it carry on losing the league to the Cheese and Onion club. Isnt there more chance of that? ![]()

Actually there has been a film found in a dusty BBC archive recently. 'Carry on playing in damp mouldy conditions with only the pleasure of eating cheese to look forward to' was the forerunner to the later successful 'Carry on' series of films.

Anyway, back on the great film thread. Can I recommend 2 great British films that'll warm your heart?
1) Inside I'm Dancing
2) Grow Your Own
Both great feel good films.

I'm guessing that the first one is about Wayne Sleep's experiences performing in Parkhurst. And Grow your own obviously features a young Alan Titchmarsh before he shot to fame in Groundforce.

Maybe you should check out the DVD "A Romp Too Far", or indeed "The Rompfather"? I've heard it's very good.

I always had you down as a closet Glitter fan CN. A personal favourite of mine would be Bill Haley and the Comets with 'Romp Around The Clock'.

F*@king Bergerac?!! What has that got to do with romping? If you're gonna mention the legend that is John Nettles then at least weave something along the lines of Midsomer Romps into the bargain. But even that's weak.

Very few people know that John Nettles got his big tv break on Big break, which is a bit weird isn't it? He then played a patient on Casualty who had a big break to his leg. His career is littered with big breaks it would seem.
