Rhubarb, rhubarb! Shall we scrap pool altogether then we can all save ourselves a lot of 'silly bother'? Rhubarb, rhubarb!

I think it's a good idea. But I am ahead of you in this respect Ronnialdo. I gave up playing about 8 years ago.

I have always been rubbish. About 8 years ago I became sub-rubbish, so I felt it was time to quit. Since then I have been hired by several teams to provide incisive wit at otherwise drab pool evenings.

My jokes are legendary Mr Illman, but then so are yours. I remember you playing that Ringrose fella in the Crawley v Reigate match. That was hilarious. I bet you'll be hoping to avoid drawing him next Sunday eh?

What Ringrose fella? Never heard of him. Whatever will be will be on Sunday. May the slightly better team win. I'm just hoping that there's a copious spread of cheese and onion on show!

I sampled some Rileys catering yesterday. You can look forward to sausage and onion rolls with chips. If you want cheese, then I suggest you pop over the road to Sainsburys. Or just don't turn up and instead go down the Railway Club for a shindig.

Why is there so much rubbish written on this forum? I am all for a bit of silliness but the comments on this forum take it to another level.
Please people , by all means be silly but know wwhere to draw the line.
( What's the chances of some di*khead comming on here and asking what he should use to draw the line with?)

Pretty likely actually, but instead I will ask a different question... should I pose the question about what to draw the line with on the 'Ask Ringo' thread, instead of this one?

Surely the only one time resident di*khead likely to make such a comment would obviously use a crayon?

I agree with Ringo. The amount of absolute rubbish written on this forum has reached fever pitch. It's high time that we actually started talking about the fine art of pool playing that we sometimes dabble in. So with that in mind...
Aren't the Surrey Men's team all a bunch of girls?!! I reckon we could get a Sussex team together any day of the week and hammer them into ground like a tent peg.
